Chicken Noodle Soup Solar Style

I called my daughter one day and asked what she was doing. She said, “I’m making Chicken Noodle Soup in the solar oven from left over chicken.” It sounded so good that I copied her idea. Here’s how I made the Chicken Noodle Soup. This is one of those recipes that you just add whatever you have in whatever amount you want.

Chicken Noodle Soup Solar Style
-
About 2 cups left over chicken (cut off the bone and into small pieces). I cut it off of the carcass of a rotisserie chicken.
-
6 cups water
-
Chicken bouillon
-
salt ( to taste)
-
1 tsp Parley (to taste)
-
dried onion flakes or powder (to taste)
-
egg noodles
Pre-heat solar oven while putting soup ingredients together.
Add everything to stockpot except egg noodles. Put into solar oven and let simmer for several hours to blend the flavors. Add the egg noodles and let simmer until the noodles are the firmness that you like.
This is a recipe that could cook for 2 hours or for 6, just depends on how you like it.
