There is some really great work being done around the world to design and implement new solar ideas  – especially in the way of solar cooking.  These ways amaze me.  The humanitarian benefits of these solar cookers not only help the people in these countries, it benefits the entire planet.  I would love to have one of these in my yard.  It makes my little store bought cookers seem so puny in comparison.  So for some really great fun, check out The Solar Fire project at www.solarfire.org and http://symingtonsolarfire.wordpress.com/.
